@Loren, @ Russell's Teapot, I see in Earth Observatory link:

Toxic Algae Bloom in Lake Erie

Is it affecting you and how?

Carbon dioxide is soaring.

Atmospheric CO2 Leaps into Uncharted Territory: 408 ppm

“Carbon dioxide levels are increasing faster than they have in hundreds of thousands of years,” said NOAA’s Pieter Tans in a March statement. “It’s explosive compared to natural processes.”

“We are now witnessing the fastest growth rates of the entire record of CO2 measurements. This record-breaking growth is an expected consequence of the near record-breaking fossil fuel usage combined with the largest El Niño event in several decades.”

Wilderness Volunteers--ever hear of it? I've belonged for many years (15?). We do "service trips" doing trail maintainence, construction projects, etc. all over the U.S. in national parks, BLM, state parks, and others. Well, I just signed up to participate in one along Lake Michigan in Sept. Check out the site if it sounds like something you'd like to do.

Here's one that gave me a chuckle, Joan.

I don't know, cartoons about climate change just don't tickle my funny bone. What would give it a nice stimulation is if the fossil fuel industries went belly up, the one%ers crawled into a heap of worthless money they had printed, and we gardeners and ecologists found our nitch in a fair and stable market.

That's a great video, Ruth! Thanks!

(Trying to embed the video here silently fails for me as well.)

The Guardian shares this funny short video on Al Gore's Climate change conspiracy. (I couldn't make the embed code work.)

Relevant to Pope Francis recognizing anthropogenic climate change -- and being blasted by climate deniers who are not only more scientifically knowledgeable than the scientists, but also seriously asking "Is the Pope Catholic?" -- this Ramirez cartoon:

Pope in white miter: “The MAJORITY of OUR SCIENTISTS BELIEVE IN ANTHROPOGENIC GLOBAL WARMING...” Scientist in white lab coat: “WE ALSO BELIEVE there is NO GOD.”
