Ex-Mormon Atheists

There seem to be a few of us ex-mo's in the Nexus and it is good to share the particular intricacies of extracting oneself from Mormonism.

Perv who snapped pics of woman in dressing room turns out to be high-ranking Mormon church official.......

A man who was caught secretly taking photos of a woman in a Nashville, Tennessee shopping mall has been identified has a high-level member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Fox 17 reports.
Stephen Murdock was arrested on Tuesday after police say he took the photos at an H&M store in a mall at Opry Mills. According to the report, Murdock’s wife begged the victim not to call the police after the incident.

As Fox 17 first reported on Wednesday, Murdock approached the female victim and “guided” her to a dressing room in the clothing store, apparently pretending to be a store employee. Once inside the dressing room, the woman noticed a black object in the corner and soon realized it was a camera pointed directly at her. As she quickly got dressed and tried to get someone to call the police, she noticed Murdock emerge from the dressing room next to her. As she confronted him, she noticed that he was deleting pictures from his phone, some of which were of her...............

Just heard a great new trick for getting rid of missionaries you see them prowling the area.

Open a beer when they knock on the door.

Answer politely.

They ask if they may talk to you.

Tell them you just have to lock up the dog, shove the beer into one of their hands and ask them to hold it for a moment for you.

Close door, pretend to mess with the dog, but actually set up camera phone.

Open door quickly snap pic of "sinful missionary".

Take back beer, tell them the pic is going straight to their mission president and onto facebook if you ever see them in the area again.

Close door.

I don't remember any of this worthiness crap, but the age of 8 is when the baptisms are supposed to be done.

Comment by Loren Miller on July 12, 2019 at 2:43pm

Oh, swell ... and just WHAT are their definitions of "worthiness?!?"  This smells worse than week-old unwashed socks.

The so called Church is facing mass protest as the pressure mounts to protect Mormon children from "worthiness" interviews and unvetted holders of youth and nursery callings
[protecteverychild.com]
Even with this going on the Church is pressing ahead with plans to EXTEND worthiness interviews to 8 year olds, thats right eight year old children and are sending out surveys to ask parents which officially sanctioned pervert they want to carry out the interviews!
