You might read up a little bit on "Glossolalia", i.e. speaking in tongues, and point out that it's not just a Christian thing. Other people do it who don't even believe in Jesus or the Holy Spirit, so the fact that someone speaks in tongues can't prove that their religious belief is correct.
Really, though, you're not going to argue your mother out of her belief. Probably best just to work for a "live and let-live" arrangement.
