Just a few great Douglas Adams links

In the beginning the universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and has been widely regarded as a bad move.

There is a theory which states that if anybody ever discovers exactly what the Universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable. There is another theory which states that this has already happened.

Okay, on with some links. First, his page:

His "Community" Page that the BBC now owns:

Let me know if there are any particularly appropriate links that I should post. And of course, feel free to discuss his works of fiction as well!

Fans of Douglas Adams, I'm trying to track down online for you all a video of DNA discussing ideas about the internet before it was a reality.

I watched it the other week and thought it utterly fascinating to here him discuss what are essentially notions of hypertext and web browsers before they were a reality.

Can't find the link at the minute but am searching for it, will be back with as soon as I do, and maybe it'll be an early christmas present!

I had to read that once twice before I 'got' it.

Same actually with the holisitic detective agency.

I think mostly it was the age I began them at, and a better understanding of what the holistic method meant and some of the jokes making more sense rather than just being weird-funny. ;-)

Clive, it's an honour to have you part of this community as well. If you have any thoughts, please let me know and I'll do what I can to implement them.

I am Clive the flying Ostrich, Researcher U113478 for the aforementioned (top of the page) Hitchhiker's Guide to The Galaxy website, h2g2.

Meanwhile, I own (and regularly dive into) The Hitchhiker's Series, Salmon of Doubt, both Dirk Gently Novels, The Deeper Meaning of Liff and the quite superlative, Last chance to See as well as the original h2g2 radio plays on CD.
