Spud, that photo looks great! One of the biggest wastes of money I've done in recent memory was buying a Cuisinart ice cream maker. This thing does darn near everything. All I have to do is put the cream, sugar, and fruit mixture in it. It has its own compressor and chills as it churns. 45 minutes later, you've got soft serve.

Went to the doctor one month later and diagnosed with Type II diabetes. Son-of-a B!(%H!!!!!!!

And I'm fixing a homemade pizza tonight! Do I need a "selfie" to prove it?  I cheat by using a tortilla shell. I plan to top it with asparagus.

Had fresh purple asparagus from a friend's garden this weekend. Olive oil, salt, pepper, in a 400 degree oven for about 20 minutes, served with a hollandaise sauce. Yum!

It's rhubarb and asparagus that's coming on for me. I use the same recipe for my rhubarb crisp, Daniel. Yum.

Oh, Joan!  Thank you!  I wish I had the ingredients for a pot of chili, but I don't right now...just fresh veg for a mess if stir fry.  Maybe I'll think uo a song about that...

"The Sly Stir Fry"  with a sweet & peppery sauce that sneaks up on you....
