Joan, toast with peanut butter sounds good.  I haven't had peanut butter in the house for quite a while.  I'm under the impression that it can contain quite a bit of sugar.  Don't know if that is true or not.

I'm trying to keep an eye on my sugar intake as well.  I don't eat donuts and danishes or bread slathered in jelly.  I was trying to be healthy by eating granola with fruit flavored yogurt but both can contain much sugar.  Lately I've been eating eggs (omelette or scrambled) with potatoes.  But I don't want to overdo my egg consumption.  Some days I'll just eat potatoes ( "baked" in the microwave, sliced up, and sprinkled with olive oil, pepper, paprika, and hot sauce.)  I drink my coffee black, so no added sugar there.

Throughout the day I consume a lot of fruits and vegetables so I'm good in that department.

I really don't know what else to eat for breakfast that is healthy.  The eggs and potatoes are filling and tasty.  Any other suggestions for a healthy and filling breakfast, anyone?

I have two slices Dave's Killer bread with peanut butter and a cup of coffee with honey and half-and-half.

Admirable, Randy!  For the most part, I also avoid added sugar, but do have half a teaspoon sometimes in tea.  No juices any more other tgan V8 which has salt but not sugar.  No jellies, jams, cookies or cakes.  I might bake a pie in a couple days.  Rhubarb plants are calling my name.

Enjoy the real Italian food in Italy!

Great job, Randy.  Any noticeable effects?

4 weeks over-- final day! I made it with one lapse (Easter). Sugar-free for a month. Yes, I'm proud of my willpower. It became easier as I progressed, but the temptation and desire was always there. Now, watch me over-indulge while in Tuscany!

Daniel, you are given a time-out in the corner for that one!

Taco stuffing ingredients stay in place better in a soft shell but I much prefer the crunch of the hard shell.  I'm happy to clean up any fallen debris with a fork...perhaps mixed in with the refried beans.

Nifty gadget, but the taco stuffin's still spill out when one attempts to eat it.
