Augh, Curious Thing. Does every gay man go through that at one point or another, having your heart ripped out and stomped on by a straight guy who is just so gorgeous (inside and out) that it hurts just to breathe (to use a cliche)? This must be an experience unique to the GLBT community that doesn't exist in the straight world. They may have unrequited love, but there's a chasm of difference between someone who just doesn't return your affections and someone who can't love you in the same way. If ever there was proof that you don't have a choice in who you love, that's it right there; because man, oh man, the guys I've been in love with who will never love me back...
I agree completely, Really, marriage contracts should be contingent on production of viable babies. If none in 5 years, then the marriage automatically voids. Sorry aging widows and widowers - you will just have to life alone. And since the whole issue is to support "marriage", divorce should be banned, even in cases of abuse and adultery. Also if someone accidentally marries a long-lost sibling, divorce should not be allowed. The bible did not ban incestuous marriage. They will just have to wait the 5-year fertility window like everyone else. Just like abortion should be banned including cases of rape and incest.
To the Mark Hayes video below, if he's really in favor of the "procreation" argument, then he should also be in favor of barring infertile couples from marriage, as well as those who choose not to have children.
Reminds me of my late teens / early 20s. Before I knew what "gay" was (yes I was that naive) I fell in love with a straight guy. It was never consummated. Then I joined the Army, said goodbye to "me then" and started to become who I was. That first love, more painful than sweet. Did he know about me what I didn't? We were both better off for my having left.
I am so sorry guys, I never meant to scar eyes or turn anyone straight. I too will never be the same......
No one will believe that pic. They are both past puberty.
Is it okay to use rubbing alcohol on your eyes? I kinda want to sterilize them after seeing this... so scarred!!
The pope gets it on....
Dallas, Protect your eyes! It's like looking at an eclipse? You might be permanently blinded - I hope it's not too late!
Tony - from one of the blogs I follow when I should be doing something more useful. That was grom Joe.my.god - see links above. He's one of the top gay bloggers, and ardently godless. A bit "NewYorky", but I can live with that.
Where did you find this? What kind of duck-butter is this guy trying to sell? Marriage is not necessary for procreation. While it has served a good purpose for this, it is not the end all and be all for marriage. What a maroon. When over 50% of all marriages fail, something is already broke. Try working on that for a change. Idiot!
