So basically, Tracy Morgan and CK are a form of Poe.  I think GW Bush was a form of Poe too.   And Richard Nixon.

To anyone who has trouble posting here, try clicking on the html box. i could not post until i clicked on the box. Still can't get pics to post. bummer.

Mike, I see his point but I don't agree with it. What he seems to be saying is that you can cay anything as outrageous as you want, and if you take offence it's none of your business, it was 'irony' and that you just don't get it. It seems to mean there are no limits at all. That being said, I don't think there would be limits to criticism either? I might just be confused. Where Louis CK quotes himself about rape, I don't find him at all funny either....

UN officially backs gay rights.

"Backers included the U.S., the European Union, Brazil and other Latin American countries. Those against included Russia, Saudi Arabia, Nigeria and Pakistan. China, Burkina Faso and Zambia abstained, Kyrgyzstan didn't vote and Libya was suspended from the rights body earlier."

Burkina Faso is really starting to piss me off. I think we should call for a LGBT boycott of Ouagadougou. That will bring them to their knees, I'm sure of it. Oh, and Russia and China too. But why concentrate on the negatives?

The declaration was cautiously worded, expressing "grave concern" about abuses because of sexual orientation and commissioning a global report on discrimination against gays

Tracy Morgan apologizes.  It's interesting, the apology is clear, concise, well written, easily understood.  I went online and viewed a number of his routines.  They are not clear, concise, well written, or easily understood.  They sound like a drunk and rather stupid man.  The transcript of the apology does not sound like a drunk and not very intelligent man.  Makes me wonder if he wrote his apology.  Taking it at surface value, at least he read the apology.  Does show the influence of GLAAD.  Now about his sexist rants....  "Morgan allegedly ranted that successful women are the downfall of society and attempted to shift blame to women for many of the problems plaguing the youth"   I note the "allegedly" but it makes me wonder.

LezGetRealeditor is a straight white man!  What's with these guys.  Who's next - Martina Navratilova?

"In the guise of Paula Brooks, Graber corresponded online with Tom MacMaster, thinking he was writing to Amina Arraf. Amina often flirted with Brooks, neither of the men realizing the other was pretending to be a lesbian."

OMG!  Two men pretending to be lesbians correspinding and flirting with one another without knowing that the other is a man!

Calif. Episcopal Diocese to Bless Same-Sex Unions.  Advocate.com

..." the move from Bishop Talton breaks a ban on blessing same-sex unions, an issue that has divided the Anglican Communion, which includes the U.S. Episcopal Church. Rowan Williams, the archbishop of Canterbury and head of the Anglican Communion, has declared his opposition to blessing same-sex unions."

This being atheist nexus I thought it would be good to report on relevant religious news.  So there it is.
