Maybe if I smiled that much people would think I'm as cute as this guy.   Naaahhhhh....

I don't think that guy is educatable.  Language barrier aside, he makes little sense.  Willful ignorance remains ignorance regardless of the hoops that one jumps through to inform.  Might as well try teaching monkeys to crochet.

Here's another compelling story, I think.

Mom:
"I'm glad I didn't tell you its OK because you would have been a bigger whore than you are now."

Dad:
"this cancer medication might make your son homosexual..."

Danny:
"Your son's a 'mo. Get used to it"

Sorry, really "no" to Brad Pitt, even at his peak.  Honestly, I think brains are part of it, and I don't think he's much brighter than the average toy poodle.  Hill Harper plays a doctor-turned-CSI in CSI NY.  At least we are not competing in the same pond.  Not that I'm competing with anyone anyway.

By the way, as long as y'all are discussing your tastes, give me Vin Diesel over Brad Pitt any time.  In my dreams.  But I'd take Hill Harper over either of them.  For looks, yes, but also for intellect, social responsibility, and the personality he projects in his acting.

I thought it was an interesting video.  I agree that personal taste does not equal an 'ism.  It's not a lot different from "I only like blondes" or "I only like hairy men" or "smooth men" or "I don't like men with tattoos".  These tastes do not equal "I wont hire" or "I won't live next door to" or "I wont buy/sell from/to".

It's interesting to hear what people say about their experiences of discrimination, and what they call discrimination, and what they don't.  I was reading online about ethnic food choices, and assumptions that people make, and thought, get over it, it's just foods.  On the other hand, I feel 99% sure I experienced discrimination in the work place, over several years, but no one will say "I mistreat you because you are gay" or "I mistreat you because you are male" so I wind up wondering if I was just paranoid.  But I don't think so.

I like watching videos on that web page, and wanted to share some of the diversity of experience and expression.  I will probably post more.  I would like to find comments about religious or non-theist aspects, but haven't found them yet.

Personally, I think he's very cute.

(Darren, my ex used to tell me about catching his grandparents in flagrante delicto on the couch.  He thought it was funny.  It gave him hope for a sexy old age :-)
