I certainly never have.

I have never heard of hissing as something that gays do. It's a strange thing to say. You should ask your friend to elaborate.

So, a really kind, attractive, wonderful, pleasant, cute, and atheist man told me that hissing is a homosexual stereotype. I've performed google searches trying to find information on this. But, I've received no information thus far.

Have any of you ever heard of this stereotype?

Not too old. LOL
I'm proud of my history. I took a lot of chances and I'm happy that some religious nut didn't take me out during some protest or after a media appearance. I would do it all over again.
The worst thing, which still exists today, is not being understood by the gay community. It breaks my heart when I see how many of us still cling to those institutions that have caused so much missery, pain, and death to our people.
I understand people feqaring their mortality and thinking that "something" is there, but to hold on to the childish notions from an oppressor, is very sad.
The up side is seeing so many out and proud atheists who will continue to change the world.

Dominic,
I hope this doesn't make you feel old: You are a true pioneer for equality!
I'm also pleased that the movement has flourished. It gives me hope for the next generation.

Back in the early 80's I co-founded American Gay Atheists. We worked very closely with American Atheists and Madalyn Murray O'Hair. I'm so pleased that the movement has grown to this point, especially with the availability of the internet. We truly are everywhere and it is great to see.

Nothing new here. Because of Apple, Adam and Eve were kicked out of Eden and the Trojan War was fought. And they almost killed Newton.

Pish posh Daniel... you aren't that much older than me.

Is it possible Apple is homophobic, uberbearing and tyrannical?
Comment by Daniel W on May 1, 2010 at 10:31am
Thank you dr kellie - I had no idea either. It's sad being an old guy.

Is Apple homophobic or just uberbearing and tyranical? Apple rejects gay tourist app. "Apple has rejected, for the second time, the iPhone app “Gay New York: 101 Can’t-Miss Places,” citing objections to images showing too much skin and an irreverent caricature of Sarah Palin." Apple has how many 10s of thousands of apps and they couldn't have this one?

"Steve Jobs has attempted to justify the filtering of content by criticizing the apps available for other platforms, and those who chose to use them: “You know, there’s a porn store for Android. You can download nothing but porn. You can download porn, your kids can download porn.”

Just kidding.
