Yeah Dandte's is pretty awesome. Did you hear about the staged protest for the game at E3 2009? EA paid a bunch of people to act like angry xtian protesters. They had signs like "hell is not a game" it was weird that when EA was found out there wasn't a huge outcry from the gamers. I guess it was a touchy subject. The game is still fun though. I reviewed it a while back for my game review blog/podcast.

I was looking at Dante's Inferno earlier today at the game store, it definitely made me think of GoW. Also, it made me think of this Penny Arcade strip:

Yeah, no lie there. Ancient mythos are the bees knees, the gods were like comic book characters. They all had their drama and they have fuckin' super powers! God of War is really good for the greek mythos, too bad they don't have a egyptian mythos game. If you like GoW maybe you should check out Dante's Inferno, it's a ballsy game that casts christian mythology in the same action adventure light. Oh man did that game make people mad. Another i'd suggest is the Prince of Persia series. Wait a little bit though, a PoP bundle like the GoW bundle will be on it's way and will probably have Sands of Time and Two Thrones SWEET!

I realize that I'm a bit behind the times with consoles, but I just picked up a PS3 a couple of weeks ago along with Infamous and God of War (1&2 on the same disc). Having recently beat God of War 1, I'm steadily making my way through the 2nd and can't wait to finish so I can go get the 3rd. I don't know why exactly, but I love Greek mythological themes.

@Mike Wolf
If you'r willing to spend $10/800 points at Windows Live for the third DLC from Bethesda, "Broken Steel", it eliminates the mandatory dying at the end, expanding the main story line and allows leveling up to 30.

I've been playing Fallout 3 as well. Great game with many hours worth of options. And Mike is right, it's f'n hilarious throughout.
