Hell, the gimmick of this generation - the pokemeter - is so meaningless a grab for attetnion I can't possibly get my head around why it makes me want it.

Not a lot of innovation maybe, but they have certainly refined the formula to the point where it's a thing of beauty. I was really wondering how much better D/P generation could be, then I found out about the division of special/normal type attacks.... sold!

Pokemon games just amaze me. Well over a dozen games, and then they come out with the remakes, and I still want to play them. Its just a shame that they havent had any real novelty in the series since the dual battles.

Hey oldschool gamers...

If I were to posit that Radiant Dawn is about an 8/10 for difficulty, and Shadow Dragon is about a 9/10 for unless you farm arenas or kill half your guys to get gaiden chapters, which Fire Emblem games should I pay double price for on eBay, and which would be controller-endangeringly-frustrating?

On a side note... Pokemon SS/HG arriving any day now. *drool*

@Shanna - I played/beat it. It's cool. I didn't like the ending and other minor issues but overall its pretty good. That first boss battle was crazy, but then they top it later in the game IMO

No-clip mode was something you could enable in some older games, like Doom, in order to walk through walls.
