Jon Lomberg designed a black hole fountain located at the center of the Galaxy Garden.

Jon Lomberg copyrights his photos so I sent him an email asking permission to use one of his photos for sharing with this group, and with my grandchildren and great grandchildren. One can easily find his Tour of the Galaxy Garden so I am sending this to you. He has a water feature at the center that represents a black hole. This is the neatest idea. I don't have the energy to replicate it, but I can turn my four boxes into part of the galaxy story.

I can't send individual photos because of copyright, but read to the end and you will be in for a treat!

Tour of The Galaxy Garden, this link should work.

Jon Lomberg responded to my request to share his photos with you and he very generously agreed. He is a delightful man to chat with. Here is one of his photos that I especially like.

"I'm Not Sure How Any Alien Could Make Sense of It."

~ Jon Lomberg

"At the end of the 1970's, artist Jon Lomberg gathered talent from across the country to work on the PBS series 'Cosmos'. The working relationship he had with Carl Sagan, his friend and collaborator, coupled with his reaching out to the community of space artists when the 'Cosmos' series went into production, enabling a galvanization of the artistic resources devoted to Space.
