Second blueberry pie today.  I put the recipe in the food group.  Getting some sweet corn, peppers, tomatoes, and beans now.  What a great time of year in the kitchen garden.

Randall,

That is a beautiful porch. Is it too much to ask if you can snap pictures the whole outside house and post it?

I love older houses. It is like living in a museum.

What a gardner, and what a cook, is that Daniel W!

Thanks for the invite Randy.  I'll stop by as soon as Michael Anthony pays me a visit.

Yes, Spud, that's my house, built in 1911. It's about 5 miles from my sesquicentennial farm. You all are welcome to stop by anytime.

Daniel, the pie looks delicious! I'm sure it tasted the same.

Randy, that's a beautiful house!

This year we netted the blueberries, and the result was more than I knew that bush could produce.  Amazing how much those birds usually eat.  So a pie was in order...

Yesterday I got the first of the sweet corn.  It wasn't much, but tasted very good.  That was from the first few plants that germinated this spring.  I think subsequent batches well be more.

Very attractive porch garden Randy.  Is that your porch?
