Thomas, I had mushrooms in my omelet this morning. No wonder I feel so light-headed!

Daniel, interesting title to your zinnia illustration: "YOUTH AND AGE". More flowers for me in 2018!

I have some friends who lived in San Francisco and moved to Moraga on the east side of the Bay. A short while later their cat disappeared. A month after that they got a call from former neighbors - the cat had somehow made it across the Bay Bridge and back to its old 'hood.

Out of Indianapolis came a dog story on the evening news last night. A "lost" dog for 5 years was returned to its owner thanks to a microchip. Nobody knows where the dog was for all that time. Of course, the owner was thrilled. Sorry about your loss, Kathy.

Another neat painting, Daniel.

Daniel, I didn't see it in these. It was the color of the bird known as an Indigo Bunting. Could be because I found it under some leaves so the sun hadn't bleached it. Last fall I found a bunch of bright orange ones that looked like upside down carrots. But they were growing up together like a bunch of bananas. I broke one open and they were hollow inside.

Our pets have a lot to teach us, & training us is a must!

Sad news Kathy.

Kathy, how are you doing?  May comfort and peace come from memories of your shared life.

Your description of your Boston Terrier's behavior confirms its feelings of loss and grief.
