Thanks, Chris! I am so very happy to be home.

How are you doing, after all the weather problems you had?

Kathy, I found my 1993 photo of my back yard. The little baby in arms of my daughter, Laura, is Laurie, who now has a little child about her age when this was taken.

Note the blue spruce in the background, only about three feet tall

The grass is gone and replaced with a food forest. The patio is gone and replaced with dining circle in the middle of the back yard.

I know what you mean. I have been struggling all day trying to get some photos and articles. I am going to sign up for a class in photo management at Apple, but not this week.

II am FINALLY able to retrieve this photo of me in my garden.

IThis photo is of my current garden. I am trying to find the photo of the same garden, taken from this same place in 1993, unsuccessfully.

The photo on my member page is the only one I've managed to post. And that took hours.

Joan, my 13 yr old gdaughter told me my cell camera, I use it for photos, isn't compatible with the something ? :) I can send pics from the phone to text but not to computer networks. I'm hopeless with technology. It makes my b/p climb. It's already uncontrollably so I don't need that. ; )

Kathy, what wonderful gifts they gave you. The value your activities in the garden!

Do you have a digital camera? or a computer that takes photos?

I would very much like to see you and your garden, let's see if we can't find a way for you to send us your pictures.

I am trying, unsuccessfully, to send you a photo mine. I will try once again. The last comment I intended to send you disappeared into the ether.  Here goes:

Nope, I feel like a slug

Oh! Well, I guess I will go grocery shopping first.

My daughter got me a wonderful sign for mothers day. "Gardening; the slowest of the performing arts". It's hanging on the door of the new toolshed that my her husband built for me. The shed looks like an old outhouse. On the inside instead of a toilet there is a bench, with a lid that lifts up, for storage. He did a wonderful job on it.
I would like to add a small lean to on the side to put a small table for potting plants. Overall it's the best gift I've received :)
