I took a brief hiatus from here, and decided to come back. I've missed you guys, and hope you are all doing well. Hard to believe that fall is around the corner

There's not much of a fall where I live. Having said that, I love Halloween. I don't celebrate Christmas and such the way I once did, now that I left Christianity behind a few years back. I'm wondering, do any of you still partake in Christmas, in a more secular way? Do you do the whole gift giving thing?

Just wondering. :=)

Nothing like this here, in Florida. :(

hornbeams or beeches? They're wonderful!

Nice Deidre.  In my daydreams, I see my house at the end of that covered path.

That's a lovely thought, Idaho....if only. :)

Scariest Halloween ever, for me.

So, I miss fall...and leaves changing, and dammit...even raking leaves. Someone in chat today brought up raking leaves...and I'm feeling nostalgic. <3
