As some of you may or may not know, my daughter is a television news producer, currently working in Nashville, Tennessee. Her assignment is the morning news, which means she blasts herself up at umpti-ump in the morning to organize and prepare a show which probably starts somewhere between 4:30 AM and 6. It can't be much fun effectively working third shift (something I've never done myself), but she's stuck with it and seems to have found her rhythm there.
That last statement may be on the conservative side, though. She just texted me a few minutes ago to let me know that ... well, there was this event over the weekend ... and she sorta won something:
Proud Dad, I would be proud too.
Great for her.
That must be a difficult job - not for the hours, but because of how much editorial content she has control over in the broadcast.
