Kulkarni cousins and I met yesterday in Koramangala for an informal meet. It went quite well resulting in many interesting ideas. We identified few things which we can immediately act upon to build the member base in Bangalore.

- Organize a waking rally for the International Rationalists day (1st March)
- Monthly informal gatherings on every 3rd Saturday of the month.
- Organize an event or a rock concert which serves both as a gathering and a fund raiser for other activities.

I know all this sounds little too realistic given such low attendance but not impossible if all the folks who are active in the virtual world (this network or facebook) would lend some support

Yes. These seem like the most sensible first steps to setting up a localized rationalist group. Great ideas. I look forward to it.
