Home of the Freedom From Religion Foundation, Madison was once described as "The People's Republic of Madison", or "Left Coast of Wisconsin". Perhaps it still is.

Hi everyone, I'm Carolyn, single mom of a little freethinker in Madison. Part of the reason we moved here was Madison's reputation as a a freethinker-ish city. I'm interested networking with other non-religious parents - just for the sake of it, but also because I hope to start a Spiral Scouts troop.

Hello all, I'm a student at MATC and have been looking for a group of local non-believers, especially anyone interested in parenting with out religion.
Hi guys! Hope you don't mind, but I'm actually in California. However, I graduated from UW Madison in 1994 and still think of Wisconsin as my second home...

My name is Skip Evans and I'm the president of the Wisconsin chapter of Americans United for Separation of Church and State. We have groups both here on this site and Facebook, and I'd like to invite you to join either (or both) of these groups to keep up with chapter news. We'll soon start having regular monthly meetings in both Madison and Milwaukee.
Hi. I'm John. I'm a student at MATC (so unfortunately I won't be joining the UW's AHA group. It's nice to see there are other atheists in town who aren't the FFRF.
