Inside Big Tobacco’s Academy of Lies, the Inventor of ‘Alternative Facts’
Don’t like the science? Then invent one you do like. It was one of America’s greatest snow jobs, costing millions of lives. And it’s happening again with climate change and this time billions of lives are at stake.

Donald Trump tweeting, sitting on a tree limb labeled 'CREDIBILITY'; the tweets fly out of his phone and return as woodpeckers chopping down the tree.

I missed Daniel's recent post in "Free Thinkers news sources and reporters", linking to Vanessa Otero's blog and her explanations of the methodology that went into creating the chart. Thanks!

She remarked that based on feedback, among other things, she'd split CNN into their internet site, going in the central circle, and their cable news channel, which remains basic-to-sensationalistic (due to unwarranted repetition of stories over and over and over). Also, her revised chart changes "Basic AF" ["basic as fuck"] to just "Basic".

I found the source of the media bias chart that's gone viral (and spawned a few biased "corrections"): Vanessa Otero on Facebook. It's marked with a Creative Commons - Attribution - Noncommercial "copyleft" license. Glad to give credit where credit is due!

Closeup of a Donald Trump baby face, sucking on a pacifier whose shield is shaped like the Twitter logo

It's good to have the Way Back Machine (Internet Archive) for fact checking.

When alternative facts are repeated they become Orwellian truths.
