By reducing "political news" to sports commentary-like screaming matches, CNN actually promotes Trump lies. It hires disreputable pro-Trump "pundits"  for the screaming match drama. This comes from …Continue

Donald Trump tweeting, sitting on a tree limb labeled 'CREDIBILITY'; the tweets fly out of his phone and return as woodpeckers chopping down the tree.

I missed Daniel's recent post in "Free Thinkers news sources and reporters", linking to Vanessa Otero's blog and her explanations of the methodology that went into creating the chart. Thanks!

She remarked that based on feedback, among other things, she'd split CNN into their internet site, going in the central circle, and their cable news channel, which remains basic-to-sensationalistic (due to unwarranted repetition of stories over and over and over). Also, her revised chart changes "Basic AF" ["basic as fuck"] to just "Basic".

I found the source of the media bias chart that's gone viral (and spawned a few biased "corrections"): Vanessa Otero on Facebook. It's marked with a Creative Commons - Attribution - Noncommercial "copyleft" license. Glad to give credit where credit is due!

It's good to have the Way Back Machine (Internet Archive) for fact checking.

When alternative facts are repeated they become Orwellian truths.

Something around 52% of the U.S. population believe Jesus Christ will will come back in their lifetime to take them to heaven.

It should be obvious that facts don't matter in a world where people believe in alternate realities.
