Not only not fill out the prescription, they would probably steal your script and refuse to give it back, hoping that you would be too embarrassed to return to your doctor to pay a co-pay to get another. I'd call the cops on them and sue!

Ok, this seems like an appropriate place to bring up "pharmacists for christ" a very helpful student organization at my school. The sad thing is that there are many instructors involved as well. Praise Jesus! 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30!!!! yay, praise him for making 30 divisible by 5. Jesus cant help people sort out their insurance, and no, even he doesnt know what your damn co-pay will be.

Hi everyone, I'm a lab rat and it's nice to find this group.
I just kills me, the other night when this family prays over the unit of blood I'm bring to them--so God makes the blood heal this man from his cancer. They were "prasing God" for the whole 10 minutes I was in the room. It was wild!

Hi Jean Marie, I know how you feel. I too was thrilled. Nice to know that there are medical people who believe in their own ability to heal and comfort, unaided by the sky fairy

Yup. These loonies sem to think they have some entitlement to spew their superstitious BS. Sort of off topic, but in my little bible anus town, our local traco Bell franchise owner used to put up bible verses behind the counter on a blackboard. The straw cam when she put up a notice that everyone who brought in a bible got 10% off. I called the parent company and complained bitterly. Within the week all that shit was gone. Corporate knows what’s best. Oh, and I did take advantage of the bible discount once. After I paid I left the bible on the counter :-).

When I was in nursing school (when dinosaurs roamed the earth), there was a student that insisted that EVERY patient wanted to 'pray' with her. No one else had a patient ask them to pray with them. I explained to her why it was inappropriate and when she told me that I was wrong, I went to the teachers who to their credit, made her stop. She never did understand why that was a problem...

I took care of a patient some years ago who had pancreatic cancer. Her husband was positive that she would walk out of hospital cured because god had given her a vision stating this. As she got nearer to death, he was convinced that if she could jus have a BM everything would would get better. When she finally died, the poor man was so could god betray him like this? She had a vision....what went wrong???? It was pathetic, really. And I doubt if his faith was shaken one bit. It always goes back th the "You just didn't have enough faith" bullshit. As if someone who has lost a loved one needs another burden. I hate clergy.

Yes, and when they 'question' the existence of 'god', with the illness of their loved ones, there is a chaplain to assist them through their 'crisis of faith'!

Yeah....isn't it odd how he never shows up until after the heavy lifting is done??? Just like a man.
