How about having an auction to auction off a bit part on a Mr. Deity episode?  I for one would love to play Mary Magdalene!

If you had to pick your champion episode..

Razakel, yes! And it could ascend into heaven (but only on Easter?)

@danwest It would also be able to turn water into high quality fuel. And turn 5 gallons into 500 gallons, at a whim!

If Jesse was in the car chase, would his vehicle be able to drive on water?

@Sam - I agree, but it's important to remember that religion is extremely adept at ignoring the evidence.

@Brian - I also agree with you, over the time period you're describing, but I would highlight that the US may be arguably less secular than when it was founded, at least constitutionally, with the courts routinely ruling in contradiction to the spirit of the Constitution in order to permit the reduction of church/state separation. That, plus my original point that many if not most Americans still think that morality is dependent on god-belief - atheists and some others may know better, but the popular sentiment is against that. I hope that continues to improve, but it could arguably change for the worse given the correct motivational bogeyman (say a new dominant, hostile communist or non-Christian state).

On another line, has Mr. Deity covered biblical flat earthiness yet?

What? What trailer? Where? Where is the trailer? Please tell me where the trailer is. I could do with a really good laugh.

Mr. Deity car chases would be awesome. Imagine the action, especially if Mr. Deity has his omniscience turned on!

I'm concerned that Brian didn't specify that there would be no car chases in the prequel. Am I the only one to be worried about that glaring omission?
