From the first time I heard "Suite: Judy Blue Eyes," I fell in love with the sweet harmonies and rich, warming music made by Crosby, Stills and Nash.  Since that time, they celebrated the Summer of…Continue

Steely Dan plays great tunes. Reminds me of  Donald Fagen

Bozz Scaggs is another great.

Boy, Classical Gas brings back memories. But then again, so does about every other "oldie"!  And for that very reason, I don't like to watch those PBS shows featuring the "good old days". I'm not sure why (not). Perhaps I prefer to look ahead, not relive my past.

I also enjoy Classical Gas.

I'm not a yuge folk music fan, but here's a number I've always loved:

TIP: When you're getting the embedding code, click on the "SHOW MORE" link below the embed line.  Scroll down a bit and you'll see prompts for video size, including a custom size option.  Select "385"  for the first (width) parameter and hit TAB.  "217" should come up for the height figure, then scroll up and copy the modified embed code, which should now contain the new numbers.  I used that technique on FM and on this haunting vignette from Sully here:

Joan, when we embed videos, they truncate the right margin.  It's possible to shrink the video so that it fits, but I never get the dimensions right.  To view the entire video, when playing there should be a "Y" or a button to view on youtube on the lower right corner of the video.  Clicking to that connects you to youtube and you can see the video on full screen.

It's such a great song. (Key words: It's easy if you try.)
