From the first time I heard "Suite: Judy Blue Eyes," I fell in love with the sweet harmonies and rich, warming music made by Crosby, Stills and Nash.  Since that time, they celebrated the Summer of…Continue

Could you imaging waking up to that with coffee and a biscut?

It's a fanticy - It doesn't happen.

Randall, I rather think of Ms. McIlwaine's piece as a bit of piano gashouse blues ... but that's just my $0.02 worth.  Call it what you like, but it's FUN, ain't it?

I love music, & many types. Music is going in my house every day.

Another nice reprise of an old fave. Not many people can improve on Dylan on a Dylan song, but Adele pulls it off.

Joan - back in the day to me usually refers to the late 60s/70s, college era. Much of the music then expressed a real Zeitgeist at the time, to us children of the 60s anyway. But I also liked Frank Sinatra, which was very uncool at the time.

Here's a nice update to an anthem of the time--

Music seems to have played a far more important element in your lives than in mine. I can't say I ever listened to anyone; I didn't collect albums. I am a little surprised at how sensitive and evocative your music is; feels like a lament in some ways.

What ages were you when these melodies attracted you to them? Several of you state "back in the day," and what does that phrase mean to each of you?

I can't even remember what I listened to in high school or college.

I'm trying to think of a word to describe your song, Loren, but can't come up with one. I like it, though!
