Take Heart ~ Oregon, from Northwest Passage, core members Ralph Towner (guitar, piano, synthesizer, trumpet), Paul McCandless (woodwind instruments), Glen Moore (double bass, violin, piano), and Collin Walcott (percussion, sitar, tabla).

Paul McCandless intrigues me so I went on his trail and discovered some interesting sounds, i.e.,

Paul McCandless plays Oboe, English Horn, Piccolo & Soprano Saxophones, Clarinet, Bass Clarinet, Penny Whistle, Wind Controler, Keyboard Synthesizers. Here is a sample of his composition

And now for something completely different:*

Hi-Yo, Silver! Away! Free the reeds!

* If you thought I was going to resist also posting the Monty Python's Flying Circus theme (a.k.a. John Philip Sousa's Liberty Bell March, a piece by an iconic American composer named for an American revolutionary icon... go figure!)... nope!
