For people from the Live Free or Die state who believe in rational thinking, science and reason. And for people from any other state now that I think about it.

If anyone gets anything going, count me in.
I used to be part of an internet automotive club, and we were able to put together some pretty huge meets. Good times were usually had by all.

It would be nice to see southern New Hampshire to get some sort of group going. I think it would gain a good amount of support once it was organized and the word got out.

Okay, found the Lowell Freethinkers group on Meet-up: http://atheists.meetup.com/331/

I am not that big on twitter. Just don't use it as much as I could I guess. And I want to actually connect with folks IN NH, not worldwide. I already hav so many connections worldwide through here, Facebook, and yes, even twitter.

I tend to find most of my online atheist conversation via Twitter.

I have no knowledge of any NH meet-up groups. The closest Humanist groups are in Mass. I was surprised by this considering that NH does have a higher rate of atheism than most states in the US.

Any conversation about religion, politics, philosophy, etc. was avoided when I visit my family down South. Up in NH, it is more of an open dialogue, even if some Granite Staters dislike the idea of atheism. I am more than happy to share my thoughts on the subject...most people are not very happy to hear rational and logical that debunks their childish nonsense which hurts our world much more than it helps.

I think that's a capital idea! I am really new to the area, so I know nothing! And I am still in the process of house hunting, learning my new job, etc. But if someone wants to put it together, and I am available, I'll do my best to be there.

By the way, is there one of those "Meet-up" groups for NH as well? I should connect with that as well.

Maybe someday we could have a NH meet-up?

Well, the theists in FL accused me of being particularly loud and obnoxious. Of course, that could have been just because I had the audacity to even mention that I was an atheist at all!
