North Dakota Atheists

I didn't see an ND group so I started one. Last I checked North Dakota had the lowest percent of "unaffiliated" in regards to religious identification (3%) which does not mean specifically atheist but shows it’s a tough state to be an atheist.

I thought it would be nice to have some links:

Red River Freethinkers
Project 42 The first freethinkers/atheist convention ever in the Fargo area. September 18th 2010!

Are there any more that would be of interest to people in ND?

Hello, I am a graduate student at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and I am conducting a research study on stigma and secular individuals (atheists, agnostics, humanists) located in the Midwest for my doctoral dissertation. I wonder if any of you would be willing to send an email with a link to my web survey to your group members. All participants in this survey will remain anonymous.

Please reply if you are willing to send out an email request to your group members and I will send a follow up message with a link to the survey that you can forward on to the rest of the group. I may contact you again for follow up requests in the next few months. Thank you for your consideration and I look forward to hearing from you.

I saw on news Brian Magee was trying to get ISNOGOD on a license plate in ND. It was initially rejected but he appealed and it is being reconsidered. Planning a letter to Dept of Transportation in support. Article in Grand Forks Herald

My lack of activity is not due to non-interest but severe laziness. I'll try to be a bit more active in the upcoming weeks. To be able to talk to others about the issues is really interesting to me.
