Okay, okay, so I'm no longer an Omaha/Lincoln atheist. I bugged out of Nebraska about two years ago for the friendlier climes of Portland, Oregon. (Yea, it really IS nice out here.)

That said, you really need to check out an Omaha group called REASON -- Rationalist, Empiracists, And Skeptics Of Nebraska. It's not "officially" atheist, but it's a great place to meet like-minded people and engage in intelligent conversation. They meet 2nd and 4th Wednesdays at 7 p.m. at the Blueline Cafe and 1st and 3rd Saturday afternoongs (2 p.m.?) at the main library downtown. Check out their Web site, reason.ws. (The .ws stands for "web site" -- REASON.org was already taken by someone else.)

Enjoy -- Jack
