Cox, Brian + In Search of Giants (in 15 parts) by Joan Denoo

Cox takes us on a journey from atoms, electrons, atomic nucleus, quarks, particle physics, the nature of forces, gravity and electromagnetism, weak and strong nuclear forces, a unified theory of forces, a weird quantum world, Quantum Electrodynamics (QED), particle accelerators and Higgs particle, the biggest particle accelerator ever, and high hopes for Large Hadron Collider (LHC).

Even though the topics include difficult concepts, breaking them into parts to explain each and putting them back together makes the manageable of complex ideas understandable  for the untrained watcher.

Symphony of Science - the Quantum World!
