Looking at Dale's posts, it looks like he handled it very well so far. I'm looking forward to seeing how it plays out.
I was in Georgia for the first time to go to my buddy's wedding. I was on the train (MRTA) and within 5 minutes I overheard a Dad telling his son about the evils of evolution (really, not making this up). I'm from the Boston area and some people may not think evolution is real but there is a societal pressure not to talk smack like that in public.
I read the blog and watched the Nova video and it was great, if frustrating. There is just no way to make someone understand why this should not be in public class rooms if they can not first separate their emotional religious views out first.
