Politics, Economics, and Religion

Religion has so many connections to political and economic beliefs, there needs to be a place to identify linkages, problems, goals, options, action plans and evaluation criteria.

What is the purpose of life?

An eternal question, what is the purpose of life?, occupied philosophers’ thoughts throughout history. Stone pictographs reveal even primitive peoples reflected on this query. Each one has the capacity to define his or her personal thinking about politics, economics and religion.

If we want to make America strong, we need political leaders who possess the ability to grow and innovate quickly. Leaders who have strong moral compasses are most probably able to live up to their values. Ethical judgment is a learned behavior that reveals itself in one’s personal character.

All leaders have values, they just don’t know what they are. Combine ambition, high need for achievement, with little awareness of one’s personal values, can lead to failure to lead all the people in a mentally healthy, moral and ethical way.

As an education professional, it remains my job to encourage self-awareness, self-inquiry, and ethical judgment. Making moral decisions requires courage, especially in an environment of privilege, exploitation of systems, and manipulation of others.

Leaders need to ask themselves:

What are my rights and privileges?

What are my duties and obligations?

How do I assess my impact on policies and practices?

What are my values?

Who benefits from my decisions and who should benefit?

Who pays a price because of my decisions?

GOP overreached and lost its ethical and moral compass.

Dear Magats, If you think Trump was sent by God, nail him to a cross, wait three days, and let's see what happens.

Throw rocks as ballist for roadbeds.

Concrete and asphalt doesn't seem to be working.

I should drop out of this subject because I'm interested in public transportation.

Some may not like what I'm about to write about pavement - what is often called blacktop.

What is often called blacktop and roadways can be made - especially in flood zones where high rains are able to soak though the roadways to prevent floodways and capture rain and water.

This is kind of simple.

They paved what didn’t exist?

Where did they find it? In Erehwon?

"They paved paradise and put up a parking lot."
