What is the purpose of life?

An eternal question, what is the purpose of life?, occupied philosophers’ thoughts throughout history. Stone pictographs reveal even primitive peoples reflected on this query. Each one has the capacity to define his or her personal thinking about politics, economics and religion.

DeWine finds himself in the "close-but-no-cheroot" category, as he shut down the state, but allowed churches to remain open.  STUPID!!!

What a contrast between the religious groups in Australia, India, the US, and other places insisting that their rituals are magically immune to disease (so go ahead, come to church, share a communion chalice and spoon, or gather in huge groups to be protected with cow urine, or whatever) -- and true leaders like governors Andrew Cuomo, Gavin Newsom, and Jay Inslee.

Back to your not-so-regularly-scheduled political cartoons:

'Our troops reporting to the front lines!' EMTs, doctors, nurses, and a cleaning crew member, in masks and protective gear, going to the hospital and health center ('OPEN'). Looking on from windows, a white-haired older woman waving an American flag, a man at his laptop, giving a thumbs-up, and a boy waving and saying 'Come home safe, Mom!'

(An exaggeratedly rotund Donald Trump, with trademark long tie, tiny hands, and iPhone) Tested negative for → [checklist, every item checked] coronavirus, empathy, leadership, intelligence, real hair, truthfulness, morality, ability to speak/read, natural pigment, honesty, adult hands, integrity

Couple inside a cylindrical toilet paper fort: “Let’s see coronavirus get past this!!”

How to avoid contact with coronavirus stupidity: (woman telling man, both on a couch) “Wash your hands often and don’t touch your Facebook...”

"Look to Nixon’s defenders, and the Vichy collaborators, for clues."

"Trump’s America. It’s the concepts of truth and shame that are on life support. The definition of “facts” has been so thoroughly vandalized that Americans can no longer agree on what one is, and our president has barreled through so many crimes and misdemeanors with so few consequences that it’s impossible to gainsay his claim that he could shoot someone on Fifth Avenue and get away with it. Donald Trump proves daily that there is no longer any penalty for doing wrong as long as you deny everything, never say you’re sorry, and have co-conspirators stashed in powerful places to put the fix in."

‘Succession’ Producer Issues Ominous Warning To Donald Trump ‘Cult’ Members

“There’s going to be a reckoning,” “They will be implicated, so will their children and their grandchildren,” “There’s going to be a stain.”

when it comes to Trump, “it is a cult because people who in some cases did have reputations that they have now destroyed, good reputations, have made fools of themselves for their dear leader.”

“But the people who swirl around them and were taken in, they’re going to pay a price, a human price and a reputational price forever.”

“With time, everything will come out — it always does,”... “Trump’s collaborators, our Vichy Republicans, will own all of it” whether they were “active participants in the wrongdoing,” the “so-called adults in the room who stood idly by” or “those elite allies beyond the White House gates who pretended not to notice administration criminality and moral atrocities in exchange for favors like tax cuts and judicial appointments.”
