Silly Thought: should we try to improve primate societies?

I saw that this group is kinda quiet so I thought I would stir thinkgs up a bit...

In the spirit of the Copernican principle, should we try to improve the the social lives of primate groups so that they are:

* more egalitarian
* more group members can express their sexual freedom
* females are not oppressed
* children are protected from abuse
* respect the rule of law
* ensure the pursuit of individual liberty and happiness
(I believe that we do not need to defend homosexuality among primates, they have that down already)

I am not a post-modernist, but as a thought provoker, if it is stupid to think of doing this for primate groups, why do we think we should do it to other human groups?
Especially those cultures that are very different than our own?
