You can even find free classic books to give it a whirl. I find it it quite nice for my commute. I still may buy a real kindle.

The Kindle app is free. I've been using it to read Guns Germs and Steel. The app also allows you to reverse the display so the letters are white on a black background, which is ideal for reading in the dark. I will get a Kindle eventually, I think, but this app is doing quite nicely.

I might have to try it out. Is the App free?

Kindle app let's you adjust the font size, not nearly as bad as you would think.

Reading an entire book on the iPhone would kill my eyes. The text is way too small. I need to start reading some of Sam Harris' works next.

Gah, I'd move to America just to get a Kindle.

I have the hardcover and the Kindle version on my iphone. I am looking for something in a similar vein. I've read 'Your Inner Fish' and 'Why evolution is true' the latter I think being a wonderful compliment to Richard's book.
