it would be easy enough to schedule something at a time and place where it would be ok to bring kids... hell im about to have a kid, and meeting freethinking parents is one of the things i really wqant to do.

i want to find out exactly how parents are keeping religion from their children (if they are) in this heavily religious state.

I hardly ever get away from the kiddos, but when you guys have the info on this meeting decided we'll see what we can do.

I'm up for wherever we might want to get together. I'm often in downtown Greenville and can nail down a couple of good spots to meet. I can haul it down to Anderson if that is central for everybody else though. Cheers,

well how many people would be willing to drive to anderson? there is a very friendly pub called corbitts its very welcoming to groups... has amazing food, and a pretty good bartender.

Sure, we're always up for a road trip, when I'm not involved with a show or something. We need a plan, a place and a date.

Sounds like a possibility, George. Wonder where the most central location would be for all of us?

just out of curiosity. has anyone tried to get everyone here together for a meet up? i think it would be great to get the like minded people in our respective areas together. we all know how hard it is to find non believing people to talk to... or just hang out with in the south... this may make it easier.

Maybe even without realizing the irony of it they'll burn a cross on our lawns lol
