Snow clearing here used to be great but now the mayor thinks he's saving money by not having the residential streets cleaned, & is leaving it up to the residents to clear their own pathways. We have several neighbours who have snowblowers & 3 of them have ATV's with front blades who are doing the work the city should be doing. I told Rick we should give our tax money to them!

I am still in recovery from my hip replacement, so spend a lot of time on the computer, reading books, playing with the cats, doing my walking on the manual treadmill, doing the stairs, cooking, & some light housework in between my housekeeper visits.

Rick is getting anxious for gardening season & is going a little stir crazy.

Patricia, you really are snowbound. Do you have some interesting hobbies for this period of the year?

I'm revamping my filing system on my computer. It is a mess! It will take ten winters to get this stuff straightened out. My photo files are dreadful.

Also, I'm reading an interesting book on depression, anxiety, and its manifestation on public policy, i.e. "Apostolic Reformists and Dominionists: Emboldened by Trump, the Dangerously Devout Prowl DC.: Thanks, Bertold, for the information.

Can't use the scooters in that Joan. It has to be cleared reasonably before we can, & the city doesn't seem to do it much any we are mostly snowbound. The neighbours give us rides to dr, or groceries, but going to town is a nightmare.

Plinius, I saw no bear either and did not know about bears being a name for wind patterns.

Patricia, that looks like a lot of snow for scooter use. BRRRR!!!.

I've been watching for robins but have seen none yet. There is another bird, probably a crow or raven, but I caught just a glance. There is a lovely bird nest in the deciduous tree in the neighbor's yard and I keep an eye on it to see if it will have residents this summer.

So, the "bear" is like "We're having a bear of a winter". I get it now.

In the meantime, we've got robins and unseen, but heard, bluebirds, and sandhill cranes flying north overhead. Spring is pushing forward.

And, I plan to roll my yard today.

Settled some, but Rick is trying to keep a path open to the shed where the scooters are stored.
