The hot spell is over. It's a good morning to visit our local donut shop where my granddaughter works (Saturday only) and where my grandson is selling popcorn for Cub Scouts. A two for one stop.

Then I plan to drive 20 miles to the farmers market where my SIL has a vegetable stand set up. If he needs help, I'm available.

Have a good one!

Sometimes, it's the little things that make life enjoyable--needed rain, a strawberry, coffee. Carry on.

Where's the bathtub when you need it?

Nice to have a big job done & finished Plinius. We're also getting rain, but its only for a few minutes at a time, & is not soaking things they way they need.

Love the hash browns, egg combination Randy.

I had some melon & strawberries from the greenhouse with breakfast today.

Thanks for reminding me that I don't have to go to church anymore.  That brings a smile to my face.

My breakfast consisted of catfish nuggets.  Tasty and don't cost much.

Enjoying our overhauled home now that the heavy work is over. Today I do a little cleaning and sorting and using a lot of filler for the dents in the walls. It's almost normal weather for September, 20 degrees C in the daytime with more rain. Amazing how quickly plants recover after the drought!

Good Sunday morning all you non church goers!

I just had one of my favorite breakfasts: hashed browns with an egg over it. I spice it up with "Cavender's All Purpose Greek Seasoning". I use it on so many things. On the side, I had red raspberries. My Fall crop is coming on. And don't forget the coffee!

I'm now off on a walk, despite the heat. We're going to hit 90 again. Good day to all of you.

That's the difficult part....our forests are vast, so trying to get away from it all is a challenge big time. A houseboat in the middle of a huge lake is beginning to sound very attractive.

But it must be an impossible situation when all the smoked out people evacuate to cleaner areas! How much place is there 'away from forests'? I'm glad Rick is well, but there's a lot to worry about!
