Yummy looking, Joan. Makes me hungry.

Happy Thanksgiving one and all!

On Jan 21, 2015, Cary cooked this dinner in honor of my 79th birthday. His pork chops were outstanding, the potatoes with my favorite rustic mash, pork gravy seasoned just right, and a delicious vegetable salad.

@Loam, notice the plate! My china.

Mmmmm….love pork gravy.

Glad for your presence here, Loam! While the coffee looks good (black or with creamer?), I never liked those kind of "tea cups". Why not, you ask? For one thing, they're too tiny. But the main reason is that with the wide rims (and narrow bottoms), coffee cools down too fast. Plus, I don't like the one finger handle. I'm a two finger guy. Just my opinion--not a criticism. Enjoy the coffee!

Daniel, A beautiful cup of coffee; I feel right at home having coffee with you. Your pattern is the same pattern that I had when the children were home. I would still be using it but we do not need another full set here at L&L. We packed it up for use by the younger generations as they start up housekeeping.
One of the great-grandkids already left to go to college. He chose not to take it. Next to leave for nurses training is Kaytlynn next year. Perhaps she will choose it. There is a whole gaggle of boys coming up and then a four-year-old girl.

Yes, Daniel, I thought it was pretty good myself.

Early evening here, after a very busy day. News in a few days...

Later...  haven't checked here in a while.  Thanks Patricia!  I loved that!

Here's my cuppa coffee this am.  Sitting at the window, looking at the frosted yard.  Have a nice day everyone!

To start this dreary November day, I had a scrambled egg and bacon, pear and coffee. First breakfast in a week by myself. My sister from Virginia has been here. Nice to see her, but I missed my privacy and routines. Things are now back to normal, whatever that is!  Have a good weekend, everybody.
