OOPPSS!! I put the tray of seedlings on the back porch and the temperature was too cold for some of them and they withered away. Still, some survived and I will do my hardening off in the greenhouse.

You make me think of the poor potplants I find at the supermarket, half dead and looking like strays. At times I buy a few for one euro and try to make them grow. Some die, but I'm very proud of a fern that grew out well and a tiny figlike plant that has great plans.

Fixed and ate (of course) an omelet this morning. It included asparagus and mushrooms from my garden and yard. Delicious.

I've found over 170 morels in my yard--first grays, then the larger yellows. No need to go to the woods, although I still will, once the weather improves. It's been so rotten--wet and cold.

I bought flowers, a blackberry and blueberry bush to plant, but they're still sitting in their pots. Too wet. I've never had any luck with blueberry plants, but i can't help myself whenever I see one at the store. Wishful thinking it'll make it. I already have wild blackberries available, but I wanted a different, bigger variety.

Enough rambling. Have a grand day and week.

Plants grow. Much is right in the universe.
