I've seen many great shows over the years, but some have stood up above the rest. What sticks out in your mind?

For me, I have several. Robert Randolph and the Family Band has amazed me with the amount of energy they put into each performance. I've seen them 4 times and each time is just as exciting. Also, Bob Schneider is up in my favorite performers. I've seen him 14 times now and I'm Jonesing to see him again!

In the last year, the best shows I've seen are Blind Melon, Robert Earl Keen, The Hackensaw Boys, The Avett Brothers, The Wailers, Leftover Slamon, and Split Lip Rayfield.

You know, I haven't been to a live performance in over 20 years. I do recall that the most powerful one I saw was Diamanda Galas in Houston, TX doing her Judgment Day concert. It was very powerful.

Oops, I take that back. I did see The Genitorturers in Dallas in the late to mid 1990s.
I'm exposing my nerdiness here, but I have to say Bobby McFerrin. The man is even more amazing live than in recordings. The fact that his music is just his voice always amazes me.

Besides, how awesome is it to do 'Head, shoulders, knees, and toes" as an intermission?
I haven't seen many shows by bigger bands due to lack of money and/or transportation.

My favorite was at the Tropical Heatwave last year in Ybor City, FL. The band the Shackeltons put on one of the best high energy shows......I think that's what does it for me more than the music itself, when they're prancing around all wild and crazy.
