The Reasoning

The purpose of this group, and the term "Pearlist", is to address the inadequacy of the term atheist, which does little to describe the widely held disbliefs of so many of those who refer to themselves, as such.

We are not here to condemn any other alternatives. This group seeks, only, to premote the idea, of this new term, in order to eliminate confusion, on the subject, of what we as "atheist" believe and disbelieve.

Please, post your thoughts and comments, so that we might understand how this term is percieved.

I think of the term atheist as a type of catch for anything that is not theist nor agnostic. I see it as anything secular including secular humanists.
