I saw this quote today: "Let ours be a religion that like sunlight goes everywhere; its temple, all space; its shrine, the good heart; its creed, all truth; its ritual, works of love. Theodore Parker, 1870" What do you think about it?

Great quote! If we atheists are have a religion we should be tax exempt! But actually, I don't think any religions should be tax exempt...but that will never happen. Ethical Culture and UU are a little to "religious" for me. They remind me too much of church and conformity. Perhaps atheist organizations can get an educational tax exemption.

What would an "Atheist organization" look like that's different from Ethical Culture and UU? Would it look like a Humanist meeting? Would children be included? If so, how? What would you do at meetings? Would you call them "meetings"? How would it be different than a secular organization?
