I was 15 minutes late for work today because I was waiting in line for a coffee. Then I remembered, we have free coffee at work.

I just bought a set of massive tea cups to match my set of dishes and kitchenware... they're called "jumbo cups" and hold up to 0.5 liters of liquid ;D Sad to say, but I don't function without my daily morning tea.

My coffee calendar for Jan. '09: "Caffeine is a drug. Deal with it. You're a junkie!" ^__^ Awww, shucks...

Coffee isn't just tasty, it may be good for your heart. So drink up!

I'm home! :) I type this as I enjoy my morning cup of coffee. I drink it black, the way it should be. ;) I love strong coffee and I think decaf is pure evil. I cut back once in a while to one cup a day, but most days it's 2-3 cups a day. Now that I'm back in school it's definitely 2-3 cups a day or more depending on the day of the week. I became a coffee addict shortly after starting college (surprised?). My community college was at the time serving Starbucks coffee and the temptation was too much to resist. I've made a couple pilgrimages to Seattle to revel in the beauty of coffee. I've worked in a couple of cafes, and I love making drinks, but tamping espresso did a number on my right wrist (I'm a lefty).

My coffee calendar this month says: "I haven't had my coffee yet - Don't make me kill you." I would say that fits me to a "t."

I've planted and grown coffee trees, indoors, and roasted green beans in Vancouver, Canada, and I've harvested and possessed coffee cherry's, dried and bagged the seeds (beans) on a coffee co-operative in Nicaragua. When I've gone without coffee, people do NOT want to be around me! I am a TOTAL coffee junkie. I've had less problems with kicking tobacco than quiting coffee, 'course I don't see any need to kick coffee.

I worked and managed a coffee shop in Toronto's Beaches neighbourhood for 4 years. I broke my elbow cycling once and was making one-armed, left-handed cappucinos for three weeks.

Good times.

I used to put down 3 "12 cup" pots of the stuff a day.

I was a bit hard to get along with, some have said.

I've reduced that significantly but I'll likely never give the stuff up. Life needs those little vices.

In the bible belt, everything closes by 9. Unless it's a big opening, they don't even start movies past 11 around here. Big change from when I was living in the real world.
