No Whole Food store near me. I get my coffee beans from my daughter in Honduras. Otherwise, I buy the cheap ground stuff from Aldi, although after one "doubles the dose" to make it stronger, it's not that cheap!

Starbucks is pretty pricey - somehow people must go to them though - they are all over the place here. So I will try Whole Foods Richard - sounds good. Hope everyone is doing well.

Did y'all see where Starbucks owner (forget his name) is giving $30 million to help veterans? That's pretty generous of him. It's nice to see someone cares--certainly not the VA. I've only frequented Starbucks maybe 3 times in my life. From the price of even a regular cup of joe, I can see how they can afford to give $ plus hire 10,000 vets.

I used to love milky tea, Indian style.

I drink my coffee straight, but I like to experiment.

If one drinks Cafe au lait .for a different taste add the coffee to the milk.

Aldi sells French vanilla and Cappacino instant coffees which are quite good. I often have a mid-day cup which satisfies my craving for chocolate. Otherwise, I like my coffee straight.

Oh yumm!  I can't eat any of those except honey but I hope to include chocolate and coffee in time.

New member alert (Thanks, Richard)!  While I've cut back on my coffee consumption, I still have to drink it to avoid "caffeine deprived" headaches. I'm just not willing to give up the cup of pleasure.

Will have to try kola Luara if I can find it

I got kola powder from the Monterey Bay Spice Co.

They have a lot of interesting herbs. They also have guarana, which has caffeine and also longer-lasting stimulants.
And yerba mate', which also has caffeine. It has a very nice clear high. I became allergic to it, but I'm going to try reintroducing it, in tiny amounts at first.
