RA: Regarding a showing of "Religulous", you may want to get with CFI in DC. I bet they wouldn't mind hosting this activity.

I have the Bill Maher's "Religulous". I will be showing it around the DC area in the near future. If anyone has an appropriate venue and I don't have to travel too far, I will be glad to play it for others. Just let me know when and where.

The William & Mary Freethinker Alliance has rescheduled their showing of the documentary, "Flock of Dodos" to avoid conflict with the Biology Dept's Darwin Day event: "Darwin Across the Disciplines: Panel Discussion", held at 7pm in the Commonwealth room at the Sadler Center at the College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, VA.

The film screening of the documentary, Flock of Dodos: The Evolution-Intelligent Design Circus will run Thursday, February 19th @ 7pm in Millington Hall, Room 150.

Ellery Schempp will be visiting schools in DC and Virginia from March 28th to April 6th, 2009...more details to come! Ellery Schempp was the primary student involved in the landmark 1963 Supreme Court Case of Abington School District v. Schempp which declared public school-sanction Bible reading unconstitutional.

Greetings! I've joined the site partially because i usually don't know that i've met an atheist in real life until well into the acquaintanceship, and partially to throw in my support for the cause. I'm based in Blacksburg for another year and a half, and would enjoy happening across some sociable nontheists.
