Greetings! I've joined the site partially because i usually don't know that i've met an atheist in real life until well into the acquaintanceship, and partially to throw in my support for the cause. I'm based in Blacksburg for another year and a half, and would enjoy happening across some sociable nontheists.

Eh, I'm from MD, but I'm going to graduate school at Hollins U. in Roanoke. I like it except for the noticeable increase in fundies, though still not as bad as Lynchburg, where I went for undergrad...*shudders*

I have a question. I joined this group to find out. Is it centralized, or decentralized like MySpace. In other words is there one person in control that can boot you from the whole group you've joined? Or is it like MySpace where it is just a matter of deleting yourself off someone's friends list and all you lose is that one person, and still have the whole of your friends list?
