A very nice way to end a busy day! Such beautiful birds, Steph and Tony.

Dallas, I was excited to see the "Weird Places: Göreme National Park" Turkey. I interviewed some women there about their lives living in caves. Exterior rooms eroded away exposing inside their homes; they carved deeper into the tuff. Beautiful art work from the 4th century to present still shows bright colors. They had a door system carved out solid rock that they rolled in place and invaders couldn't open. There were holes in floors to capture intruders who didn't know they were there. Very ingenious.
