Received an email that said "Only god can make this color."  I say, "Only evolution can make this color."  This is a Gouldian Finch native to Australia.  Gorgeous.

Okay is that a Patagonian named Paulie you have there? That is too funny, I loved that movie and one of my oldest friends has a Patagonian named Pablo who is a HUGE mimic, he makes zipper sounds, sucking on straw sounds, water dropplets which drove her husband crazy after they first got the bird, thinking he had a leak or had left a faucet dripping. That crazy bird, I fell totally in love with him but man are they shrill when they want to be! I don't think he ever met a sound he didn't like!
