Yeah, I first saw that first trailer last year.  The game looks awesome, and we need more female protagonists out there who aren't a walking ass and pair of boobs.

We'll buy a PS4 for it, assuming that the reviews don't completely can it.

Strong correlation is not a sufficient condition for assuming a causal relationship.

 Understanding Correlation

"There is an extremely tight correlation between the amount of US spending on science and suicides by hanging… r-squared of 0.997…"

"Spending more money on science (please let's spend more!) will not result in more suicides. Though the two are as tightly correlated as any two things can be."

Speaking of new games, have the rest of you seen the trailers for Horizon Zero Dawn?  Looks like it should be awesome, assuming that the developers don't manage to completely screw up the game engine.

Full-screen those, of course, or you'll miss almost everything.

... or just click the full-screen button in the bottom-right, I suppose, to get the full resolution, assuming your monitor does at least 1080p.

Heh, I like my Note 5, though.  The Samsung phones are making significant jumps with almost every generation.  8-core processors are standard now, and my Note 5 has 4 gigs of RAM.  The Note 6's might have 6 gigs of RAM, due to a very recent development in RAM compression technology.

Hell, Windows desktop computers generally don't make use of more than 8 gigs.  Even the latest video games don't need more than that, since the increased demands are on the graphics cards and video RAM, rather than the CPU and system RAM.

I've been playing Fallout 4, which claims to require 8 gigs of RAM, but which rarely goes more than 4 gigs into system RAM, since my graphics card has 6 gigs of RAM by itself.

If your actually going to watch that, though, I suggest pulling it up on YouTube itself, with the little Watch on YouTube button near the bottom right, since it's posted at 1080p.

That spurious correlation site is addictive, and page 2. My brain keeps looking for reasons they could be connected.

For example, maybe more people go to the movies when it rains. We're driven to look for patterns. Is it like playing a slot machine?
